Derby Festé 2011 kicked off on Friday 23rd September with a magical Fire Garden. On Saturday 24th the streets came alive with music, dance and entertainment including the return of the spectacular Spanish street arts company Sarruga, as they presented Peixos (The Fish), transforming the city centre into a vivid and amazing seabed of giant illuminated fish and creatures from the deep.
Thank you to all who followed the parade towards a fantastic finale on Cathedral Green, before dancing the night away at a red-hot outdoor salsa party presented by Absolute Salsa and Déda.
